Unreal Tournament 2004 Demo is Awesome
Well Atari, Digital Extremes, and Epic Games redeemed themselves with this demo. I totally ignored Unreal Tournament 2003 I just hated the game play, the characters looked like refrigerators, it played slow, and they wounded me by taking out, of all things, the Assault mode!

The 2004 version has Halo-like vehicles even down to the third person view. They play and control better than Halo. There's some new weapons, I still don't think they fixed the rocket launcher. Overall I'm looking forward to this one, looks like they went back to the roots of the original and improved it. There's also a new map mode called Onslaught which involves building and controlling certain points on the map. There's turrets, flying ships, tanks, scout vehicles. Yes, the Assault mode is back!! Expect it around the 17th of March. Get it at FilePlanet. (3/7/04)

Need for Speed: Underground Demo
I'm a big fan of the Fast and the Furious Movies. So when I read about NFS: Underground I was already drooling. I've been playing the demo and it looks like it's going to be fair and a lot of fun.

I've played Midnight Club II and Grand Turismo 3 A-Spec for PS2. I like the graphics and the feel of speed in MC2, but there was no customization. I like the customization in GT3, but wasn't a big fan of the graphics. I mean, the car was going fast, but it didn't feel fast. My expectations are set pretty high for this one since it has both. It comes out tomorrow, the 17th. (11/16/03)

Halo for PC a lot of damn fun!
I was devastated when I heard that Halo was only coming out for X-Box years ago. Then I played it on the X-Box over Tom's and was screaming I need a keyboard and mouse!

Finally my prayers were answered and Halo was release for PC. Even though it was missing the co-op mode, it was a great Single Player game, close to No One Lives Forever. It's a challenging, long, and a lot of fun.

Tron 2.0 Demo Disappointment
My anticipation for this game went from soaring through the clouds to a rapid loss of cabin pressure. I like the Light Cycles, but it reminded me of an old game I used to play on my Commodore 64, granted the C64 wasn't 3D or anything, but the controls are almost the same. The Arena, not sure what I was doing, but didn't strike me as anything special. I remember the movie disc battle and it didn't have the same pace. Might as well of been firing a pistol. I think I'll wait for the bargain bin for this one. (9/1/03)

Watch out Age of Empires
My friends, Tom and Pezboy, told me about this game. At first, I was a little overwhelmed by the depth of the game. Then things just started making sense, like wood cutting facilities can only have so many people working at them. Also you own the land and enemy units take damage when inside your land unless they have support units. So building a barracks next to your enemy is probably not a great idea anymore.

I was not a big fan of Age of Mythology, I just liked Age of Empires better. Now I believe this one can knock off Age completely. (6/9/03)
