Intervue Digest Dead?
by Joseph Delgado

It's been a long time since I've done any work with Intervue Digest. Seems like every time I turn around there's something new to do with the racquetball database and website. For example, right now I'm running a Summer league with two divisions and even two trophies. Of course the trophies are cheap, but I approach it with the same level of realism that I do with just about everything else.

The short of it, Intervue Digest is not dead. I've just gotten a little bored with it, the layout, the development tool, etc. I need to make it into something more so I can spark the creative juices.

I've also been playing more racquetball, so that leaves less time for games. Most of the time whatever game time I get, is spent on the Playstation 2 instead of my PC. There are some good games I'm waiting for, but they all seem to come out for the consoles and the PC at the same time.

My DirectX programming has been on the back burner for a while, even longer than ID's comatose state. It's difficult to learn and I'm gravitating away for things that I need to do now. That have more of a payoff now like racquetball.

My Forgotten Realms Page is truly dead. I really wanted Neverwinter Nights to work and have something like I once ran at a table with friends. It may still happen, but when I run into a roadblock with the tool it's hard to recover. Things in D&D need to make sense to the environment with such limited low-level monsters I found myself dealing with Writer's Block most of the time. How many Orcs can enter a sewer underneath a small town, and still have the town operate normally? Not many or better yet zero.

So a new piece has been added to my life. Playing racquetball has forever changed my life and just need some time to integrate it in. Come July I'll be playing for a year and it has been a good one. Lost weight, made some new friends, and expanded my horizons.

Thanks for reading,
Joe Delgado
